We've talked about seeing potential recasts of dead characters, because we all know... no one stays dead in comics, but bringing back an actor to play a new character after that actor has been killed off?! Is this some sort of new UNO rule +4 card they played on fans for some huge master plan or is Marvel just washed?

The year's most anticipated movie for nerds has finally arrived, and The Nerds went to see it. Deadpool and Wolverine hit theaters and ended the weekend with an extremely successful box office pull. It's been a long time since our theatres have been hit with a decently entertaining disaster film. Focusing more on the heroes that make the threat manageable or having a half-constructed story are typical tropes of most recent disaster films, but not Twisters. Combining sciences, plot, and a believable threat, The Nerds tackle one of this summer's box office thrills. Is it worth the watch? Alongside Comic Strips and some quick thoughts on The Boys season finale, this heavy hitter might just register as an E5 tornado.

Top Gun. Beverly Hill Cop. Twister. What do all these movies have in common? If you guessed classic films... sure that's one commonality but they're also films with sequel reboots and The Nerds are here to talk about it. But wait, shouldn't we be hating franchise films because we need to force Hollywood to bring out original films?! Of course! No one is telling you that you shouldn't be watching the latest original concept to hit theatres (which by the way, we know you won't because most of them end up flopping...) but we can't ignore how well these sequels rebooted films have been doing over the last couple of years!
